Hi guys! ✌️💚Sharing an easy Japanese Chahan recipe in case you missed it out the first time. Recipe below! 👇🏼🍚 Fried rice is one of my go-to easy weekday recipes and this ones also pantry-friendly! Japanese Chahan or Fried Rice Good for 2-3 servings . 3 cups cooked and cooled Japanese or short grain rice 2 tbsp canola or other neutral oil  1 onion , diced 1 carrot , finely diced 2 garlic cloves , minced 1/2 cup corn kernels 1/2 cup green peas 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms , diced (feel free to use other mushrooms!) 1/2 to 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tbsp sesame oil Sesame seeds and chopped spring onions for garnishing . Notes The veggies and mushrooms are totally up to you! Feel free to use what you have on hand. I used frozen corn and peas. . 1. Break apart the cooked rice in a bowl. 2. Heat a pan or wok. Add 2 tbsp of canola or neutral oil. Once hot , add in the onion and garlic. Sauté until aromatic. Add in the carrots. Saute for 2-3 minutes. 3. Add in the rest of the corn , peas , and mushrooms. Season with 1 tsp salt. This will be a little salty but once the rice is mixed in , it will be just right. 4. Add in the cooked rice. Season with soy sauce and black pepper. Mix well. Cook over high heat , mixing constantly to avoid the bottom from sticking. 5. Finish off with some sesame oil. Transfer rice to a bowl and pack with a spoon. Place a place over and flip to create a rounded rice shape. Garnish with some sesame seeds and spring onions , if you want to 💚 . . 📸 @thefoodietakesflight

THE BEST of the best 🌻 - So there’s a new @lidlgb near me and they sell KIMCHI! I was buzzing when I found it , it’s absolutely DELISH 🤤 - This was the second time I’ve made a tea stained egg now , last time I let it sit for two days and the flavour was 👌🏼 this time I only gave it a few hour and although it was tasty , the longer the better! - What you’ll need: 2 Eggs 2 Tea Bags 2 tbsp Light Soy 2 tbsp Dark Soy - Method: 1. Boil the eggs for 6 minutes then dunk straight into ice cold water (this stops the cooking process). 2. Mix the soy sauce in a mug with boiling water and the tea bags - as if you’re making a Soy cuppa , then leave to cool. 3. If you want a marbled effect on the eggs then crack them before submerging in the soy tea , alternatively you can peel them for a full stain. Hello tout le monde ❤️ J’espère que vous allez tous bien Ce soir je vous retrouve avec cette recette de quiche lorraine légère aux oignons juste délicieuse 🙈 Pour la recette il vous faudra : -1 pâte brisée . -400g de fromage blanc . -200g de jambon blanc . -200g de gruyère râpé . -3 œufs . -1 oignon . -1 cas de moutarde . -sel , poivre . Emincez l’oignon et faites le revenir à la poêle durant 15min environ . Ajoutez le jambon coupé en dès puis 100g de fromage blanc. Dans un saladier , mélangez les oeufs , le fromage blanc et la moutarde puis ajoutez ensuite le gruyère râpé. Incorporez le contenu de la poêle et mélangez de nouveau. Dans un moule à tarte , étalez la pâte brisée puis versez-y la préparation. Enfournez durant 30 minutes environ à 180°. . Bonne soirée ❤️ . . . Vi è mai capitato di legare un profumo o un sapore ad un luogo A me capita spessissimo soprattutto in cucina utilizzando particolari ingredienti o spezie. In queste settimane in cui ho intrapreso questo viaggio virtuale alla scoperta delle tradizioni del pane altoatesino , posso dire che oramai il profumo intenso e inconfondibile delle spezie mi porta alla mente sempre e solo le valli dell’Alto Adige. Finocchio , cumino , coriandolo e trigonella , ecco le quattro spezie utilizzate per la preparazione di questo pane tipico dell’Alto Adige e precisamente della Val Pusteria: la pagnotta pusterese. È un pane preparato con farina di segale , ha la forma di una pagnotta tonda e lo si porta in tavola per merenda con formaggio saporito di malga , Speck Alto Adige IGP e salsiccia affumicata , accompagnato da un bicchiere di Schiava.
